Water & Flood Damage

What is the difference between water damage and flood damage?

Water damage usually starts inside your property, from a burst pipe, leak, or appliance. Flooding comes from outside, from storms or rising water, and is often larger in scale and can be contaminated. We handle both.

What is the difference between water mitigation and water restoration?

Mitigation is the urgent work to stop and limit the damage, like water extraction and drying. Restoration is the repair and rebuild that follows. We handle both, start to finish.

Can water damage be hidden?

Yes. Water can spread into walls, subfloors, and ceilings where you cannot see it, which is why we use moisture meters and thermal imaging to find it.

Fire & Smoke Damage

If the fire was small, is smoke and odor still a problem?

Yes. Smoke and soot spread well beyond the burned area and can leave lasting odor and corrosion, even after a small fire.

Does fire restoration include the water damage from firefighting?

Usually, yes. Putting out a fire leaves water behind, so fire restoration generally includes water removal and drying to prevent mold.

Mold

How are water damage and mold connected?

Closely. Mold needs moisture to grow, so it often follows a leak, flood, or water damage that was not dried quickly. If you have had water damage, it is worth watching for mold. We handle both.

Does visible mold usually mean a bigger problem behind the surface?

Often, yes. There is usually a moisture source feeding it, sometimes hidden behind walls or in the HVAC. Cleaning the surface without fixing the source tends to let it return, which is why we find and address the cause.

Storm & Roof Damage

What should I do if a storm damages my roof?

Get everyone to safety, then call for emergency roof tarping to keep water out until permanent repairs can be made. The faster the roof is covered, the less interior damage you face.

Should I call a roofer or a restoration company after storm roof damage?

Call for emergency tarping first to stop water from getting in and causing interior damage, then arrange permanent roof repairs. We can tarp right away and guide you on the next steps.

Working With Us

What should I do first when damage happens?

Make sure everyone is safe, stop the source if it is safe to do so, and call us. We will guide you through the rest and get a crew on the way.

How long does restoration take?

It depends on the type and extent of the damage. Drying can take a few days, with repairs after that. We give you a clear timeline once we have assessed the situation.

How much does restoration cost?

Every job is different, so cost depends on the damage. We provide a free assessment and a clear estimate before work begins.

Do you work with insurance?

Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. We document everything thoroughly so you have what you need for your records.

Do you handle the repairs and rebuild, or just the cleanup?

We handle the whole job, from emergency cleanup through repairs and reconstruction, so you have one team from start to finish.
